I have a $60 futures pool win wager on #1 Mo Donegal at 37-1. So, I'm sort of "all in" on my win selection. I was thinking about singling Mo in 2nd/3rd in Tri's using other horses like you have. I'm pretty confident Mo can hit the board. A few "savers" in case he runs 2nd/3rd. But of course, I need to correctly pick the others, and Mo needs to run for the backup plan to work. The weird thing was that the horse had a win here and won by 17 1/4 lengths so was kicking myself that I didn't do a backwards exotic bet with longshots on top and then contenders on bottom
That was an amazing ride. I thought he might have actually been clipped during the early part of his move, but that right-hand turn to find a hole in the stretch was just a fantastic move.
I've not seen anything as impressive as that since Calvin Borrel's ride years ago. (On what's his name. LOL)
