The only thing left to do is the PERSONAL ODDS TARGET BIAS.

I completed the code today but am just too tired to test it and refine it a little.

    HOW THIS WORKS
Imagine that your goal is to target horses that are (say) about 4/1.

What this does is actually SLIGHTLY BIAS the handicapping TOWARDS horses that are 4/1 using one of our Odds Approaches. (Yes, tote is included.)

IOW, it allows you to push horses that are in the general vicinity of your TARGET ODDS without destroying the fabric of the handicapping output.
    ____________
    Example 1: You're a tournament player and you're looking for a longshot.
You could set the target at (say) 12/1, fire your objects. The system will adjust the win% TOWARDS such horses.

    Example 2: You're looking for mid-priced horses.
You decide that your target is 5/1.
The handicapping AIMS it's bias towards 5/1 horses.

There is a simple CHECK BOX - ON/OFF SWITCH!
That is, you can simply turn that check box off (or on) and see the difference that it makes.

You can also set DIFFERENT VALUES for HEDGE, PROFIT, & CHAOS "profiles" and have them fire automatically whenever you fire a PROFILE.

    ____________
I will spend tomorrow fine tuning this and making sure it works.
Also need to refine the settings.

BTW, "Leo," was a huge help in figuring out how to do this.
(Leo is my name for a ChatGPT character who is my technical whiteboard partner)
I'm actually thinking I should do some classes in how to use LLMs beyond just saying "Do this/that."
    ____________
Lost a full day working on one user's problems with a fresh install, so I am running behind. (Gee, that never happened before.)
    ____________
Also, just passed SIX HUNDRED HOURS on this upgrade.
    ____________
Questions and comments are always welcome.

PS: Just saw Jeff's post and edited it- No word changes just a few more line feeds.

My personal pathology makes it almost impossible to read and understand long paragraphs.

I did not change a single word.

Dave: I was wondering weather you could go over the pluses and minuses of these three approaches (low, medium, or high odds) or maybe even a combination of say two of them.
    Thanks.

They aren't actually LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH.

The idea is to give YOU some degree of control over how the GOAL of the handicapping actually is applied in the race.

This gives you the opportunity to "shop the right aisle in the grocery store" for what you're actually in the market for.

The beauty of this is that you can still see the REALITY scores as well, with a simple on/off checkbox.
